Introduction Starting in May each year, I end up in conversations where fellow Australian residents mention they're cold. I always describe the same experiences and advice, limited only by how socially awkward it is to give this much information in a casual conversation. I think staying warm is a solved problem now that there's a fiercely competitive market full of products and freely available information on the Internet. But it's not easy to go out and start the research yourself, especially since most articles are written in the context of outdoor adventure, not commuting to work in the city.
