I'm known for giving way more detailed advice than anybody would expect for simple questions. At least if it's in a blog post form, you can read as little of it as you like without feeling bad about ignoring most of a direct conversation :)

Introduction Starting in May each year, I end up in conversations where fellow Australian residents mention they're cold. I always describe the same experiences and advice, limited only by how socially awkward it is to give this much information in a casual conversation. I think staying warm is a solved problem now that there's a fiercely competitive market full of products and freely available information on the Internet.
